Product Manager

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role is primarily responsible for supporting the line manager in the development of Savings Accounts (SA) and Term Deposit (TD) liability products. The candidate will propose new initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability growth. They will develop innovative SA & TD product propositions, supported by processes designed to facilitate and retain customers.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Strategic Development: Conceive And Materialize Profitable Business Strategies For SA & TD While Considering Market And Regulatory Conditions. Assist In Preparing And Executing Strategies Related To SA & TD Account Product Propositions, Promotions, Policies, Processes, Marketing, And Further Assessing Results To Meet Management Expectations.

• Coordination With Stakeholders: Coordinate With All Major Stakeholders To Develop Policies And Processes For SA & TD Account Products. Ensure That All Processes Adhere To Rules, Regulations, And Guidelines Set By Internal And External Auditors And Regulators.

• Promotional Initiatives: Assist The Line Manager In Working On Various SA & TD Product Promotional Initiatives. Facilitate Incremental Business Volumes For Accounts Through Various Campaigns In Coordination With The Marketing Team.

• Financial Reviews: Conduct Periodic Reviews Of Product Financials. Take Timely Measures And Provide Directions To Other Stakeholders To Ensure Growth And Profitability As Per Plan.

• Customer Service: Ensure Timely Resolution Of SA & TD Product-Related Complaints Or Queries Received Or Escalated From Various Departments Or Channels To Facilitate Their Timely And Satisfactory Resolution.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education: Graduation/Master degree in Banking practices and procedures (Retail Banking), System knowledge, Financial Analysis.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Effective coordination and leadership skills, ability to lead initiatives on a cross-functional basis, project management skills, effective team/interpersonal skills, analytical predisposition.
